The Light of Awareness
Awareness – It is the foundation upon which we build our understanding of ourselves, others, and the world around us. By cultivating awareness, we gain valuable insights into who we are and how we can grow.
In mindfulness meditation, openly paying attention with awareness, without judgement, is key to this practice. Awareness of the breath, the body, thoughts, feelings and emotions.
In this fast-paced and ever-changing world, it is easy to lose touch with ourselves amidst the noise and distractions and we can often find ourselves operating on autopilot. However, when we bring awareness to our experiences, we become present in the moment, attuned to our inner experiences, and observant of external factors. Awareness empowers us to make conscious choices, fostering emotional intelligence and resilience.
