    Powering down the internal urge to always be “on”, can be both stressful and overwhelming.  We are bombarded with information from many sources and sometimes the need to know outweighs the benefits of stepping back to relax, renew and realign.  While we can’t slow down the world learning to meditate can bring a calmness and equanimity to our lives despite our busy schedules.

    This One-day in-person Mindfulness Retreat offers the opportunity to experience some space to take a breath and reflect.  Learn simple but powerful mindfulness techniques that can reduce stress, increase well-being and resilience.  Practice attention focusing techniques to create more mental scope that encourages better decision-making, perspective-taking, open mindedness and positivity.

    The day will help you to develop the awareness and skill to step out of the mindless state of “autopilot”, of always being “on” and recognise that there are better ways to live and work.  Numbers for this day are limited to 5 participants to ensure time for discussion and personal reflection, and support around setting up a regular home practice.

    This programme is suitable for both beginners interested in learning about mindfulness and those wanting to refresh and deepen their practice.
