    Mindful Attention 

    Concentration steadies and focuses our attention so that we can let go of unhealthy inner distractions— regrets about the past, worries about the future, —and keep from being led astray by outer ones. Distraction wastes our energy; concentration restores it.

    Practicing mindfulness helps us refine our attention, and see through the distractions and wildness of our thoughts, feelings and emotions in order that we can connect more fully and directly with whatever life brings. Research has shown that mindful attention improves attention regulation; benefits physical and mental health, reduces stress and facilitates emotion regulation.

    Join me on this online meditation session as we settle our attention to whatever is present in the moment.
