What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese system of healing, which promotes all aspects of well-being. It is a holistic therapy in that it works on the mind, body and spirit by stimulating the body’s own natural healing capacity. Reiki flows to where it is most needed in the client’s energy field; it clears, strengthens and heals the energy pathways, thus allowing the client’s ‘life force’ energy to flow in a healthy balanced and natural way.

Reiki Treatment

I am a Professional Reiki Practitioner and Master Teacher, meeting the Code of Ethics, Code of Practice and Teaching Guidelines of the Reiki Federation of Ireland.  I work with clients to promote their own self-healing. The purpose of a Reiki treatment is to increase the body’s energies and clear any discordant energy that may exist. This healing modality is safe, non-intrusive, and non-manipulative. A Reiki session lasts approximately one hour.

 

What are the benefits of Reiki?

  • Relaxation

    Creates deep relaxation and aids the body to release stress and tension, aids better sleep, reduces blood pressure, can help with acute (injuries) and chronic problems (asthma, eczema, headaches, etc.) and aides the breaking of addictions, helps relieve pain.

  • Energy

    Removes energy blockages, adjusts the energy flow of the endocrine system bringing the body into balance and harmony, assists the body in cleaning itself from toxins.

  • Health

    Reduces some of the side effects of drugs and helps the body to recover from drug therapy after surgery and chemotherapy, supports the immune system, raises the vibrational frequency of the body, helps spiritual growth and emotional clearing.

Who can benefit from the treatment?

Reiki benefits all age groups – the elderly, the bereaved, the depressed, people of all creeds and beliefs, male or female.
