“Within your subconscious depths lie infinite wisdom, infinite power and an infinite supply of all that is necessary” (Dr Joseph Murphy – The Power of your Subconscious Mind)
Have you ever had a feeling or a sense that something wasn’t quite right? Perhaps a sense that you were uncomfortable with someone or something? Yet you couldn’t quite explain what it was that made you uneasy. No logical explanation for this feeling?
I believe it is my intuition that’s impelling me to do something or not to do something but not giving me any reason as to why. It is a subtle knowing without knowing why you know it. It’s almost indefinable.
But do you pay attention to your intuition? Do you listen to those messages that aren’t thoughts but just a gut feeling?
You can cultivate your intuition by creating some silence and space in your day. Moments of silence or meditation can help you to tune into your innate knowing, your own wisdom. It provides an opportunity to listen not just to the thoughts but to notice how you feel about things. It encourages deeper thinking and reconnection with Self.
“Even when we’re not at a fork in the road, wondering what to do and trying to hear that inner voice, our intuition is always there, always reading the situation, always trying to steer us the right way. But can we hear it? Are we paying attention? Are we living a life that keeps the pathway to our intuition unblocked? Feeding and nurturing our intuition, and living a life in which we can make use of its wisdom, is one key way to thrive, at work and in life”.
